About this policy
This policy explains the handling of information provided to WIN Financial Group through this website and initial enquiries. A finance application may involve additional privacy notices and consent documents from WIN, our licensee and relevant lenders. Those documents explain the handling of application and credit information.
Information you provide
An initial enquiry may include your name, phone number, email address, service of interest and information about your plans. In a lending discussion, additional information may be needed about income, employment, business activities, expenses, assets and liabilities. Please provide detailed financial or identity documents only through a channel agreed with our team.
How information is collected
Information can be provided directly by email, telephone or in a conversation with our team. With your permission, information may also be provided by your accountant, adviser or another person helping with your enquiry.
The website enquiry tool prepares a message in your own email app. Completing it does not send your details to WIN: you must send the email yourself. The repayment calculator runs in your browser and does not submit the figures you enter to WIN.
Why information is used
Information you provide is used to respond to your enquiry, understand your needs, discuss possible lending options and manage communications with you. Where you proceed with an application, further information may be used to prepare, assess and manage that application and meet relevant legal obligations.
You can choose not to provide requested information, although this may limit the assistance available. You can ask us to stop marketing communications at any time.
Sharing information
For a lending application, information may need to be shared with our licensee, relevant lenders and service providers involved in processing the application. We will explain relevant disclosures and seek the required consent before proceeding. Information may also be shared with an adviser you authorise, or where required or permitted by law.
Service providers and overseas handling
Website hosting and email delivery involve third-party providers. Those providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, access logs and message metadata under their own privacy terms. Some providers or support arrangements may involve overseas handling. Contact us before providing sensitive documents if you need details of the recipients or countries relevant to your enquiry or application.
For information about our licensee’s practices, see outsource Financial’s Privacy Policy. Its policy describes its own handling of information.
Website technology
This website does not include advertising pixels or analytics scripts added by WIN. Hosting or sign-in services may use cookies or technical data to operate the website. External websites and your email provider have their own privacy policies.
Security and retention
Please avoid sending tax file numbers, passwords, identity documents or bank statements in an initial website enquiry. Contact our team to arrange an appropriate document exchange. Records relating to lending services may need to be retained to meet legal and record-keeping obligations. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access and correction
You can contact us to request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity. If access or correction cannot be provided, we will explain the reason where appropriate.
Questions or complaints
Contact Anmol Dhingra at anmol@winfinancialgroup.com.au, call 0449 172 862, or write to 1/28 Rainier Crescent, Clyde North VIC 3978. Explain your concern and the outcome you are seeking.
You may also contact our licensee using outsource Financial’s complaints process. Information about privacy complaints is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Updates
We may update this policy as the website or services change. The date above identifies this version.
