I started my career as a software developer, spending my days building systems, solving complex problems, and exploring how technology can make life easier. Over time, I realised that while I enjoyed the technical side, what truly motivated me was working with people.
Running my local cricket club taught me that. Through the club, I discovered how much I enjoy connecting with others, leading a team, and being part of something that brings people together. It showed me that relationships and community matter just as much as structure and logic.
That realisation eventually led me to mortgage broking. It is a field where I can use both sides of my personality, combining the analytical mindset from my IT background with my genuine interest in people’s stories and goals.
Today, I help clients make confident home loan decisions by simplifying what can often feel like an overwhelming process. My approach is based on structure, clarity and empathy, supported by a deep understanding of how lenders think and assess risk.
I specialise in residential lending, construction finance and builder-focused loans. Many of my clients are building their dream homes or managing multiple projects, and I enjoy helping them navigate everything from valuations and progress payments to long-term strategies for growing their portfolios.
I over communicate every step and guide my clients through the process in detail, especially when things become complex or require creative solutions. I fight for my clients when things do not go as planned and make sure their best interests are always protected.
My background in technology helps me keep everything efficient and transparent. I use smart tools to manage repetitive tasks so I can focus my energy on what matters most, which is strategy, problem solving and client experience.
What I love most about this work is the moment when everything clicks for a client, when they realise what is possible and feel genuinely confident about their decision. It is the same satisfaction I used to get from solving a tough coding problem, but now it is connected to real lives and real outcomes.
As the financial world continues to evolve, I keep learning and adapting so my clients can benefit from both modern tools and personal service.
For me, mortgage broking is not about transactions. It is about people, trust and building confidence that lasts long after the loan is settled.
